Spontaneous herbs and cheeses from Val Brembana are not simply gastronomic products of the territory, but also ambassadors of environmental quality and local dairy culture. Together with their flavors, you will be able to discover their history: the commitment and ability of the cheesemakers and the traditional uses of wild mountain herbs.

Two weekends in Val Brembana to discover its world of herbs and cheeses, the territory, the culture, the traditions and all the typical products.

Taking part to Erbe del Casaro’s initiatives means dive yourself in the pristine mountain landscapes, being driven to discover the gastronomic specialties of spontaneous herbs and the dairy excellence of Val Brembana, being in strict contact with traditions, culture and knowledge of the territory and people who live it.

Starting from the enhancement of the gastronomic characteristics of spontaneous herbs and delicious cheeses, the calendar of the event includes many events for families, lovers of gastronomy, nature and local traditions.

NATURE AND MOUNTAINS
The calendar of Erbe del Casaro includes walks in the nature at high altitude, to discover the beauties of Orobie awakening after winter hibernation.

ALPIN HERBS AND THE TERRITORY
Come sempre non mancheranno le passeggiate alla scoperta delle erbe spontanee e gli appuntamenti con esperti botanici e fitopatologi, per accompagnare i visitatori più curiosi direttamente sul campo, e illustrare tutta la vasta gamma di erbe che crescono nei prati dei paesi di Altobrembo. Guided tours with botanical experts and phytopathologist will be organized to discover wild herbs, to bring the most curious visitors directly to the field, and to illustrate the whole wide range of herbs growing in the meadows.

TASTING EVENTS
Walks of taste, visits to the farms to discover how local products are done: local products, tastings and themed evenings.
The Erbe del Casaro calendar reflects the flavours of the territory.

APERITIVS AND THEMED MENUS 
The local restaurants and bars offer promotional menus and aperitifs based on herbs and cheeses, able to enhance the products of the territory, in fabulous and tasty creations created ‘ad hoc’ for the event.
